The Andechs dark bread is a rye bread (90% rye, 10% wheat), which is produced with Andechs beer solids and given a spicy, strong taste by adding coriander, basil and ysop. It has a characteristically strong taste, is very juicy and rich in roughage.
“Andechser Brot hell” (Andechs Light Bread)
The Andechs light bread is a bread made from 60% wheat and 40% rye and refined by adding Andechs beer "Treber" (draff). It is a solid, crusty bread rich in roughage. Fennel, caraway and coriander add the typical flavor.
“Andechser Semmeln” (Andechs Rolls)
The solid Andechs rolls made from 80% wheat and 20% rye are rich in roughage and refined by adding Andechs beer solids and brewing malt. Caraway and coriander give a tasty aroma.
