In order to brew our first-class beer, we exclusively use high-quality Bavarian raw materials and allow our specialty beers plenty of time to develop their taste and flavor.
The tradition of the monks brewing art is alive and well at Andechs even today. Every year approximately 115.000 hectoliters of beer are brewed at the foot of the Holy Mountain. About 10% of this is served on the Holy Mountain in the Bräustüberl and the Klostergasthof. Andechs`s "barley juice" is not only sold throughout Germany but is also marketed in many other European countries.

A Beer for every day
Andechser Hell
Clean malt flavor, gently hopped and fresh. Only 4,8 % Alcohol at 11,5 % Stammwürze, it's a plesant beer pleasure, a classical Bavarian country beer.

Andechser Spezial Hell
A typical Andechs brew, strong an well-rounded. 13,5 % Stammwürze and 5,8 % Alcohol it is brewed in the classical Fest - or Holiday manner.
Made famous in the Andechs Bräustüberl, it's equally at home in your home.

Andechser Bergbock Hell
Pleasently mild and aromatic, it's well-loved and gladly drunk.
16,5 % Stammwürze and 7 % Alcohol.

A soft, gentle dark beer with plenty of flavor
Andechser Dunkel
A beer with Bavarian "spice" and not too strong! 12,5 % Stammwürze and only 5,1 % Alcohol with a warm, golden-brown color and a velvety texture, all derived from the use of richly-roasted malts. It's "Andechs Double Bock Light", so to speak!

Andechser Doppelbock Dunkel
This is it! The powerful, full-bodied, strong beer which is Andechs's trademark. Brewed in the traditionel Triple Mash pocedure and available throughout the year, not just during the "Starkbierzeit"! 7% Alcohol and 18,5% Stammwürze.

Andechser Weißbier Hell
Noble, fruity, spritely and refreshing, it is brewed in open fermentation vats in the Monastery's historic brewing cellar. Unfiltered and naturally cloudy, this is surprise treat! 5 % Alcohol and 12,5 % Stammwürze.

A top-fermented, dark-colored wheat-beer
Andechser Weißbier Dunkel
This delicious brew shows the best characteristics of Bavarian dark wheat and barley malts. Brewed in the traditional manner in the Monastery's cellar, the fine Hallertau aromatic hop-flavour is preserved by natural, non-filtered bottling. Just 5 % Alcohol at 12,5 % Stammwürze.
